Since 2020, King Auto Tint has been the Fulton Ave studio Sacramento drivers trust with everything from a daily-driver Camry to a G-Wagon. Precision, not shortcuts
Deep-cleaned glass, protected interiors, patterns fitted to your exact vehicle and rear glass heat-formed so edges sit tight. Every window inspected under light.
Straight answers on the law
We'll show you what's legal on each window in California and what each shade really does for heat — so the car looks right and stays legal.
Tint and glass, one studio
Chipped windshield? We repair or replace the glass first, then finish with film — no second shop, no guessing who's responsible.
Premium film technology
Heat is infrared. Ceramic stops it.
Sunlight is UV, visible light and infrared. Darkness only controls the visible part. Ceramic film targets the infrared you feel as heat — so even a light, legal shade can keep the cabin dramatically cooler.
Every Solar Gard automotive film blocks over 99% of UV. Solar Gard rates VortexIR nano-ceramic at up to 88% infrared heat rejection.

All questionsWho is King Auto Tint?
King Auto Tint is a window tint and auto glass shop in Sacramento, in business since 2020 and also known by its original name, King Window Tint. We're a Solar Gard authorized dealer, and we're highly rated on Google. Our tagline says it: Tinting with Royal Quality.
What services does King Auto Tint offer?
We offer automotive window tint (ceramic and standard films), windshield protection film, paint protection film (PPF) in clear and matte/satin, and tint removal and re-tint. We also do auto glass repair, including windshield chip and crack repair and windshield replacement.
Where is King Auto Tint and what areas do you serve?
Our shop is at 2450 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825, in the Arden-Arcade area between Marconi Ave and El Camino Ave, near Business 80. We serve drivers across the Sacramento region, including Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, Fair Oaks and Orangevale.
How much does window tint cost?
Most Sacramento shops quote roughly $200–$450 for a full car with standard film and about $350–$900 or more for ceramic. Your exact price depends on the vehicle, the number of windows and the film you choose. Request a quote and we'll give you a clear number.
How long does tint installation take?
Most vehicles take a few hours, depending on the vehicle and how many windows are being tinted. Removing old film first adds time. We'll give you an estimate when you book.
How long does window tint last?
Quality film installed professionally typically lasts many years, while cheap dyed films can fade or bubble much sooner. Solar Gard films carry manufacturer warranties that vary by film line. Parking in shade and cleaning with ammonia-free products helps film last.
Can you repair a windshield chip?
Yes. We repair windshield chips with resin, which restores strength to the spot and helps stop it from spreading. Small chips away from the edge and outside the driver's line of sight are usually good candidates. Text us a photo and we'll tell you.
How long does windshield repair take?
A single chip repair is a short job, often under an hour. Multiple chips or a crack take longer, and windshield replacement takes more time plus adhesive cure time before driving. We'll confirm timing when you book.
