Premium Auto Tinting in Fair Oaks, CA
From the Village to the river trails: tint for trucks, Jeeps and everything that tows.
Auto tint for Fair Oaks drivers
Fair Oaks drivers have one of the easiest routes to us: Fair Oaks Blvd west through Carmichael, right onto Fulton Ave, and you are at our studio at 2450 Fulton Ave in Sacramento in about 15–20 minutes. No freeway required.
The vehicles that come from Fair Oaks reflect how people live there. Trucks that tow horse trailers and boats, Jeep Wranglers that spend summer weekends near the American River, and plenty of well-kept daily drivers parked on long, sunny driveways. We fit Solar Gard film to all of them, and we have been doing it on Fulton Ave since 2020.
Why Fair Oaks drivers choose us
Worth the drive.
A straight, surface-street drive
Fair Oaks Blvd gets you almost to our door, which makes drop-off and pickup easy even if you would rather avoid Business 80.
Jeeps and trucks are familiar work
Wranglers, Tacomas, Silverados and Tundras come through regularly, including soft-top and hard-top Jeep setups. Ask us about your configuration.
Straight talk from the owner
Faiz will tell you which film fits how you use the vehicle. If a mid-range film makes more sense than ceramic for a weekend truck, he will say so.

ExploreLocal driving & climate
Built for Fair Oaks sun.
Fair Oaks' rolling, tree-lined streets give some shade, but many driveways and the lots near the river access points and Village parking are fully exposed. Trucks hitched to trailers often sit in the sun for long stretches while being loaded, and the cab heats up fast.
Weekend trips toward Folsom Lake or up US-50 bring bright, high sun, and the stretch of Sunrise and Madison in the late afternoon puts westbound drivers straight into it. Infrared-rejecting film keeps the cab more comfortable, while non-reflective shades on the rear glass keep cargo and gear out of sight at trailheads.
What we usually recommend
For trucks and Jeeps, we often suggest Solar Gard NR Galaxie, a non-reflective film that comes in several shades and is warranted by the manufacturer against fading and color change, or a ceramic window tint if heat is your biggest complaint. Rear glass can go as dark as you like with dual mirrors; front sides need to stay very light under California law. For a truck that tows or sees gravel, adding paint protection film to the front end is worth considering. More film options are on our window tint page.

This place and the owner Faiz are fantastic. I called this morning and he was able to get me in same day, and most importantly, he did an outstanding job at a great rate. Absolutely the BEST tint shop around! I can't say enough good things about King Auto Tint. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. The attention to detail is insane — no bubbles, no dust, no uneven edges, just a flawless, factory-quality finish. You can tell they take real pride in their work. FAQ · Fair Oaks
Questions from Fair Oaks.
Can you tint a Jeep Wrangler with a soft top?
We can tint the glass windows on Wranglers. Soft-top vinyl windows are a different material and are generally not suited to film. Call (916) 907-3234 to talk through your setup.
My truck tows a horse trailer. Does tint affect my mirrors?
California allows any shade on the rear side and back windows as long as the vehicle has dual outside mirrors, which most towing setups already use. Front sides must stay at 70% light transmission or higher. General info, not legal advice; see our tint law guide.
How long will I need to leave my truck?
A full truck or car typically takes about 2–4 hours depending on the vehicle. Appointments are recommended.
Is ceramic worth it on a weekend vehicle?
If the vehicle spends hours in the sun at the lake or a trailhead, ceramic heat rejection is noticeable. If it mostly sits in a garage, a mid-range film may be enough. Our heat rejection guide explains the difference.
