Premium Auto Tinting in West Sacramento, CA
Across the river, worth the bridge: tint for commuters, work vehicles and everyday cars.
Auto tint for West Sacramento drivers
West Sacramento is on the other side of the river and in a different county, but the drive to our shop is shorter than many people expect. From the Bridge District or Southport, Business 80 carries you across the Pioneer Bridge and north to Fulton Ave, and most trips take about 15–20 minutes.
King Auto Tint is at 2450 Fulton Ave in Sacramento, and all work is done there. We are a Solar Gard authorized dealer, we have been tinting on Fulton Ave since 2020, and we install everything from budget-friendly film on a work vehicle to top-tier ceramic on a new SUV.
Why West Sacramento drivers choose us
Worth the drive.
One freeway, one exit
Business 80 runs from West Sacramento to our area, so the drive is simple even if you rarely cross the river.
Practical about work vehicles
Trucks and vans that serve the port, warehouses and job sites need durable film at a sensible price. We will not upsell you on a work truck.
Clear answers on the law
If you drive for work, a ticket is the last thing you want. We will explain what is legal on the front windows before we install anything.

Built for West Sacramento sun.
West Sacramento is flat and open, and much of it sits along the river and the Port of West Sacramento, where warehouse and distribution lots offer almost no shade. Vehicles parked there through a summer shift can sit in 100°F-plus heat for eight hours or more, which is hard on dashboards, seats and anyone getting back in.
Newer homes in Southport often have driveways facing open streets with young trees, and the Bridge District's game-day crowds near Sutter Health Park park in exposed lots. Commuters crossing the Tower Bridge or Pioneer Bridge in the morning face eastbound sun, and winter tule fog along the river adds glare. Non-reflective film with good infrared rejection helps with both.
What we usually recommend
For a work truck or van, Solar Gard NR Galaxie is a solid classic film: industry-leading clarity, signal-friendly, more than 99% UV rejection and a non-reflective black look. If you spend long hours in the cab, HP Smoke Plus, our best seller, is a meaningful step up with high heat and glare rejection. For a personal vehicle that sits in the sun all day, consider ceramic window tint with VortexIR. Front sides must stay very light under California law; rear glass can go darker with dual mirrors. Compare options on our window tint page.

This place and the owner Faiz are fantastic. I called this morning and he was able to get me in same day, and most importantly, he did an outstanding job at a great rate. FAQ · West Sacramento
Questions from West Sacramento.
Can you tint a fleet or company vehicle?
Yes. We tint work pickups and vans, and we can talk through film choices that make sense for a vehicle that works hard. Call (916) 907-3234 to discuss one vehicle or a few.
Is it worth crossing the river for tint?
For most West Sacramento drivers the trip is about 15–20 minutes on Business 80. Since all work is done at our shop and a typical full vehicle takes a few hours, many people drop off and pick up around their workday.
Can a cargo van's rear doors be tinted dark?
With dual outside mirrors, California allows any shade on glass behind the driver, including rear door windows on most vans. Front sides must let in at least 70% of light. General info, not legal advice; see our tint law guide.
Does tint help with glare in tule fog?
Tint does not cut fog, and very dark film can make low-visibility driving harder at night. That is one more reason to keep front side windows light; ask us and we will explain how shade choices affect visibility.
