Cadillac Lyriq Window Tint in Sacramento
For a Cadillac Lyriq in Sacramento, Solar Gard VortexIR ceramic is the best choice, because it cuts heat without interfering with the vehicle's connectivity. With the Lyriq's large glass roof on many trims, it's worth asking about roof film, since overhead sun is a major heat source.
The Lyriq was Cadillac's first EV, and in Sacramento it's become a common sight in Folsom, Roseville and East Sac garages. We've tinted Lyriqs at our Fulton Ave studio, and its owners tend to be detail-focused, both about how the car looks and how efficiently it runs.
The questions we hear most are about heat and the glass roof. A large expanse of glass overhead looks beautiful, but on a 100°F afternoon it lets in plenty of sun. Owners also want reassurance that film won't interfere with the car's large screens, apps and connectivity. Many also want the rear film matched to the factory privacy glass so the car keeps its smooth, uninterrupted look from the side.
Recommended film for the Lyriq
Non-metallic ceramic window tint is the right film for an EV like the Lyriq. Solar Gard rates VortexIR at up to 88% infrared heat rejection, and it does not affect connectivity. Reducing heat through the side glass and glass roof can ease the load on the climate system on hot days. California requires the front side windows to let in at least 70% of light, the rear can be any shade with dual mirrors, and a non-reflective 4-inch windshield strip is allowed. We'll recommend the exact film and shade on your quote.

Windshield & auto glass
Lyriq glass care.
The Lyriq's windshield carries a forward camera, and equipped trims may include a heads-up display and rain sensor, so replacement glass must be the exact match. Small chips are often fixable through windshield repair. If your vehicle needs calibration after a replacement, we'll tell you before work begins and explain how it will be handled.
